George's impressive 16% walk rate and .295/.409/.370 batting average are a testament to his ability to control the plate.
"He's got the speed of a cheetah and the decision-making skills of a seasoned veteran," Gomes said. "But we're not done yet. We want to refine his swing and push his defensive capabilities to the next level."
George is not alone in the Dodgers' outfield. He's joined by a talented group of prospects, including Eduardo Quintero, Josue De Paula, Mike Sirota, and Zyhir Hope. Gomes believes George fits right in with this diverse group, each bringing their unique skill set to the table. "Kendall is like an old-school player with his speed, bat control, and center field prowess," Gomes added.
