The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to welcome a strong contingent of Pakistani players, with a particular focus on the Jamaica Kingsmen franchise. The Kingsmen have signed seven overseas players with ties to the Hyderabad Kingsmen in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), creating an intriguing dynamic within the league. The Jamaica Kingsmen, owned by Fawad Sarwar, a Pakistani businessman based in the United States, will become the second Jamaican team to feature in the CPL after the Jamaica Tallawahs, who have been defunct since 2023.
