A perfect blue ridge mountain retreat center for small groups, family gatherings, and healing personal retreats. Terra Nova is non denominational Spirit centered retreat. A beautiful mountain retreat center, managed and kept by a dedicated team of people who believe that this land is sacred and work together to create a safe and peaceful Light Center for all to enjoy. Terra Nova is a designated wild life sanctuary. We work with area NC conservation groups to perserve and protect the mountain’s natural beauty.
We are home to 200 acres and a 12 acre lake; which offers our guests the opportunity to hike, canoe, paddleboat, swim or sit quietly for lakeside meditation. Several streams come together throughout the property, each with it’s own special voice cascading over the brook stones.
While at Terra Nova make sure you spend a bit of time visiting our gardens. The angel garden is especially beautiful at any time of year. Many have visited our Friendship garden and left their blessing by placing a stone on the Stupa in the center, perhaps you will too.
Terra Nova Center offers it’s guest a meditative journey by way of the Heart Song Labyrinth. Spend some time exploring the deep insights that are given to those who walk the Labyrinth path.

Day trips to Terra Nova are welcome just give a call to check availability. We invite you to pack a picnic lunch and come up to enjoy a day in nature.
Inspirational workshops and events are held in our spacious chapel and the Hideaway Lodge with it’s dorm style accommodations is home away from home to many.

- Camping ~ $15.00 per campsite per night Our campers enjoy many great camping spots. Our bath house has showers with hot and cold running water. Easy access and setup areas make getting back to nature simple and enjoyable.
Sunday Services are held every week at 11:00 am. in the chapel

This is a time to come together in fellowship and community, to sing and learn from the inspirational messages given by Rev. Marian Starnes. Once a month Terra Nova hosts a special Sunday service and afterwards share a pot luck dinner.
